Biography
Anastasia Levkova is a Ukrainian writer, art manager and public figure, born on August 1, 1986 in the city of Kartsag, Hungary, in a military family.
Career and professional path
From 2007 to 2009, Anastasia worked as an art manager in the Kyiv bookstore "E", and from 2010 to 2015 — in the Lviv bookstore of the same brand. In November 2013, she completed an internship at the Paris House of World Cultures as part of the Courants du monde program, where she got to know the French book industry. This internship became an important milestone for her further career in the cultural and book environment.
In December 2015, Anastasia headed the art department of the "E" bookstore network, and in October 2017 she was appointed deputy director for development of the "Ukrainian Book Institute".
From 2010 to 2017, she was the editor of the "Cultureview" department in "Ukrainian Magazine" in Prague. In addition, from September 2016 to April 2017, she hosted a book program on the Crimean Tatar radio "Hayat", called "Radio bookshop with Anastasia Levkova". She also developed regulations for the contest of writers and translators "Crimean fig / Qirim inciri", founded by the Crimean House in 2018.
Literary and cultural activities
In 2018, Levkova became the program director of the Zaporizhia Book Society and the curator of the project "Lace. Literary readings in Ukrainian towns" organized by the Ukrainian PEN in 2019.
She is the author of books:

- "Common language: how words are born and live" (Portal, 2020)
The novel for teenagers "High School. Freshman" was shortlisted for the "BBC Book of the Year - 2017" and "LitAccent - 2017" awards, and also won the "Barabuki" award in the "Prose Debut of the Year" nomination.
Current place of residence and activity
Currently, Anastasia lives in Lviv, where she continues to work in the cultural sphere, participating in the organization of literary events and cultural initiatives, actively supporting the development of Ukrainian literature and the book industry.
