Biography

Kateryna Zarembo was born on June 4, 1984 in Konotop, Sumy region.

Education and career

In 2006, she graduated from Nizhyn State University named after Mykola Gogol, Faculty of Philology. Two years later, in 2008, she completed her studies at the Institute of Philology of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University.

Literary path

The first publication of Kateryna Zarembo took place in 2000 in the almanac "Slobozhanshchyna". Since 2004, she has been a member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine. Her work belongs to the "two thousand" generation.

Literary awards and participation in festivals

Kateryna is a laureate of international literary awards and actively participates in international literary festivals both in Ukraine and abroad.

She is the author of poetry collections:

  • "Doorbell"
  • "Blood transfusion"
  • "Abandoned ships"
  • "primordial rain"
  • "Burnt skin" (chapbook), translated into English by Elena Jennings
  • "Rosary"

She is also the author of the novel "Teach her to do it" and the fairy tale "Carolina's Magical Album".

Publications and translations

Kateryna Zarembo's works were published in numerous Ukrainian and international literary almanacs, anthologies, magazines and other collections. Her poems were translated into Bulgarian, Polish, Czech, Georgian, Armenian, English, French languages.
