Biography
Yevgenia Kononenko is a Ukrainian writer, translator, literary critic and one of the most influential authors of modern Ukrainian prose.
Education and professional path
She was born February 17, 1959 in Kyiv. Education combines exact and humanitarian sciences:
- 1981 — graduated from the Mechanical and Mathematical Faculty of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University
- 1994 — received a philological education at the Faculty of French Philology of the Kyiv Institute of Foreign Languages
She works as a research associate of the Ukrainian Center for Cultural Studies. Member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine and the Association of Ukrainian Writers.
