Biography
Inna Lisova is a Ukrainian poet, prose writer and artist, born in Kiev in 1947, where she spent most of her life.
Beginning of creative activity
After graduating from school, Inna Lisova began her career in the field of applied art as a sculptor-doll maker. Her talent also quickly manifested itself in painting. Already in 1975, she became a member of the youth section of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Her personal exhibitions were held in Kyiv several times, and she gained recognition as a painter with an expressive author's style.
Literary career
Since 1990, Inna Lisova focused on literary creativity, having started an active writing activity. The first literary works were not printed in Ukraine, but in the émigré magazine "Time and Us" (New York), where more than ten stories were published. Thanks to this, her work became known not only in Ukraine, but also abroad.
Subsequently, Inna Lisova's works began to appear in literary publications of Ukraine, Germany, and Israel. Her work is characterized by deep emotionality, observation of human destiny, psychology and female wisdom. Lisova equally skillfully writes both prose and poetry, but she gained the most recognition precisely as a prose writer.

Inna Lisova's prose is always full of deep psychology, where she reveals subtle moments of human relationships and destinies, which gives her the opportunity to create emotionally rich works with wise and insightful reflections on life.
