Biography
Irene Rozdobudko is one of the most successful and popular Ukrainian writers, whose works cover a wide range of genres - from psychological thrillers to children's biographies. Her prose is characterized by stylistic boldness, emotional sincerity and deep understanding of human nature.
Origins and first steps
She was born November 3, 1962 in Donetsk. The name "Irene" was given in honor of the heroine of John Galsworthy's novel "The Forsyth Saga". Even before she learned to write, she made up stories that she enthusiastically told in kindergarten. At six years, she created her first short story - "The Tale of the Teapot and Matryoshkas".
During her school years, she dreamed of becoming an actress, attended theater groups, but eventually chose journalism. She entered the correspondence department of the Faculty of Journalism of KNU named after Taras Shevchenko and from the age of 16 she started working, gaining experience in a wide variety of fields.
Since 1988 she lives in Kyiv, where she holds the position of chief editor of the magazine "Caravan of Stories. Ukraine".

Irene Rozdobudko is the author of several dozen books in a wide variety of genres:

For her literary popularity, she was awarded the title "Golden Writer of Ukraine".
The writer and the person
Irene Rozdobudko does not seek to advertise her personal life. It is known that he has a daughter Yana, a sculptor-monumentalist.
In 2009, she married Ihor Zhuk β a poet, bard and like-minded person in joint creativity. Together they perform as a duet, performing songs and sung poetry.
Her formula for success is her love of words, stylistic freedom, hard work and sincerity with which she tells the most diverse human stories.
