Ukrainian poet, essayist, journalist, media researcher and teacher


Education and academic activity

Graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Lviv National University named after Ivan Franko. Candidate of Sciences in Social Communications, Fulbright Scholar (2008–2009, USA). In 2012, she founded the Master's program in media communications of the Ukrainian Catholic University, where she is currently an associate professor at the School of Journalism and Communications. He teaches theoretical and practical disciplines: communication theory, essay writing, storytelling, science dramaturgy, feature reporting, American literary journalism, public speaking, etc.


Journalistic and cultural activities

Born on the Kuril island of Iturup, she began her journalistic career in Lviv. She worked at the Dzyga Art Association, was a columnist for the Lviv newspaper "Postup", as well as a reporter for the New York magazine ONE CNEWA.

Initiated the laboratory of artistic reportage on the website "LitAccent" and was a jury member of the artistic reportage competition "Samovidets" from the publishing house "Tempora" (2016–2021). She also created an essay writing workshop on the Osvitoria platform.


Publishing activity and recognition

Author of book of essays "Communication from scratch. Essays for Mani" (VSL, 2019), which was included in the lists of the best books of the year according to PEN Ukraine. She was nominated for the Yuriy Shevelyov Award, the UNESCO City of Literature Award and the BBC Book of the Year (Essayist) in 2019.

Her second book is "Not muses, but muscles. 50 exercises in creative writing" (Laboratoriya publishing house, 2023) - also received favorable reviews and was included in the list of the best Ukrainian books of the year according to PEN Ukraine**.


Conclusion

The author is one of the key figures in the field of modern Ukrainian essay writing, literary journalism and communication education. Her pedagogical activity, deep understanding of media processes and ability to combine aesthetics with analytics made her an influential voice in modern Ukrainian culture and education.
