Biography

She was born in 1973 in Kiev. She graduated from the Philological Faculty of Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko with honors and obtained a higher education in the field of linguistics. After studying, she worked at the Institute of Linguistics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine named after O.O. Desires**.

Scientific activities and translations

She is the author of scientific publications, including a study of the work of Mykola Klyuev. In addition, the writer took part in the International competition for the best translation of the poetry of Wislava Szymborska in Russian, Belarusian and Ukrainian languages, where she won (Wrocław, 2015).

Literary activities and initiatives

She initiated the poetry competition "Voices of Kyiv Rivers" (2013), which is dedicated to environmental issues and, in particular, the role of water in the urban space. She conducted a literary master class at the "Studrespublika" festival (Ochakiv, 2018), and was also an active participant in international literary residencies, including Ventspils House (2016, 2018, Latvia).

Translation activity

The writer also participated in the international translation seminar "TŁUMACZE BEZ GRANIC" (2017, 2018, Poland) and was a Gaude Polonia scholarship holder in 2017, which testifies to her active participation in the development of cultural ties between Ukraine and other countries through literary translation.
