Biography
Born on November 8, 1954 in the village of Kuyanivka in Sumy Oblast, the writer comes from a family of teachers. Her life and professional path are closely connected with Ukrainian literature, cultural heritage and support of young authors.
Education and scientific activity
In 1976 she graduated with honors from the Philological Faculty (Ukrainian branch) of the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University. Her academic training became a solid foundation for further literary and cultural work.
Professional activities included:
- scientific work in the Kyiv Literary and Memorial Museum of Maxim Rylsky
- editorship at the Molod publishing house, where she worked in the poetry department
- more than two decades — in the editorial office of the magazine "Ukrainian Culture", covering the period of active formation of the post-Soviet cultural identity
Support of young talents
He is a member of the jury of the Smoloskip publishing house's literary competition, which specializes in the discovery and support of young Ukrainian writers. Her work in this context is not only a critical assessment, but also an accompaniment of new voices in modern Ukrainian literature.
Her name is associated with the intellectual and cultural environment that formed the unique space of the Ukrainian word, preserving tradition and discovering new meanings.
