Biography
Oksana Petrivna Kutsenko is a Ukrainian poet, literary critic, cultural figure and representative of modern Ukrainian intimate lyrics. She was born on December 9, 1975 in the city of Oster, Chernihiv region. She is the daughter of the Ukrainian writer Peter Kutsenko and the wife of the scientist Mykhailo Rozumny.
Education and professional path
Oksana Kutsenko graduated from Chernihiv Pedagogical University in 1998, which was the beginning of her literary career. Even at a young age, she actively declared herself on the poetry scene, and already in 1997 she became a member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine.
In parallel with her creative activities, Kutsenko worked in the state administration, in particular in the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Culture and Spirituality (2003-2005) and in the National Institute of Strategic Studies under the President of Ukraine in Kyiv (since 2005).

Oksana Kutsenko's poetry is full of mythological images, archetypes and symbols, and the main heroine of her work is a woman who desperately fights for the right to love, self-realization and be heard in a complex world.
