Biography and Education
She was born in 1974 in Uzhhorod. Writer, translator, literary critic.
She graduated from the Faculty of Romano-Germanic Philology of the Uzhhorod National University. During her studies, she completed an internship at the University of Kansas (USA). She worked as a teacher of English and French.
In 2002, she entered the master's program at the University of South Florida (USA), where she defended her master's thesis — a comparative study of the novels of Oksana Zabuzhko and the Algerian French-speaking author Assia Jebar.
In 2012–2013 she was an intern at the Jagiellonian University (Krakow, Poland). In 2014 at the University of Georgia (USA), she defended her doctoral dissertation (PhD) on the topic:
"The Great Phantasmagorical Season: The Prose of Bruno Schultz in the Light of Walter Benjamin's Theories (Essay on Passages")."
Modern Activities
Currently lives in the city of Austin, state of Texas, USA. He teaches Ukrainian literature at the University of Texas.
