Poet, editor, teacher and cultural manager, whose activity combines literary skill and social and humanitarian service


Education and scientific activity

Born in 1983 in Lutsk, the author began her professional career in journalism. She is a ** graduate of the Master's degree at the Institute of Journalism of KNU named after Taras Shevchenko, where she subsequently obtained the degree of candidate of sciences in social communications (2010). She teaches as an associate professor at her native Institute of Journalism, doing research in the fields of journalistic ethics and intercultural communication**.


Literary creativity

The author of three poetry collections, the last of which, Rusla Wrist" (2020), received high marks for visual and textual quality, entering the Book Arsenal 2021 shortlist. The book represented Ukraine at book fairs in Frankfurt, Lausanne, Innsbruck, demonstrating the sophistication of intimate female lyrics combined with topical social issues.

Her poems have been translated into English, Polish, Lithuanian, Georgian and Belarusian, as well as included in a number of anthologies and theater productions.


Cultural activity and management

Olga is the founder and director of the creative agency "Balyandrasi", and also manages the LitCom mobile platform, which specializes in popularization of reading, development of media formats and cultural communication. Her credits include poetic and theatrical productions, including:

  • "Silence" (Garmyder Theater),
  • "women.war.poems" (2022–2023) is a deep project combining poetry and women's experience of war.

She also participated in the project with the "Oranta" choir, coordinated the international competition "KruteZNO" and curatorial initiatives in the field of poetry anthologies.


Life in the conditions of war and international activities

After the occupation of Buchi, where she lived with her family, she was forced to evacuate to Warsaw. There she initiated the project "Spilnomova" — a platform for dialogue between Ukrainian and Polish writers. Received a Kościuszko Foundation grant for the research of digital literary formats at the Polish Academy of Sciences.
