Biography
Svitlana Olehivna Talan was born on March 7, 1960 in the village of Slout, Glukhiv district, Sumshchyna, in a family of village teachers.
- In 1975 she graduated from an eight-year school in the village of Peremoha, continued her studies at Banytsia Secondary School
- In 1983 she graduated from the Glukhiv Pedagogical Institute
- At the age of 15, she started working as a freelance correspondent for a district newspaper
- Worked as a kindergarten teacher and primary school teacher
Since 1989 lives in Severodonetsk, Luhansk region. Married since September 26, 2006.
Literary Activity
Svitlana Talan is the author of novels in the "real stories" genre. The source for the plots is life itself, and the central figure of the works is invariably:
Ukrainian woman is strong, sensual, emotional, who goes through mistakes and challenges, but is always guided by love: for her husband, children, homeland.
